Having initially been appointed to re-brand a fledgling company, Pendulum have worked on a diverse number of projects over many years, from exhibition graphics through to the design of the entire software administration system.
Our first project with Webexpenses involved the re-branding of the company back in 2011. Over the years the company has grown rapidly and recently they required a full re-brand, with the roll-out effecting many existing brochures, one page documents, websites, apps and the administration system. At the time of the original logo design, the connection to cloud systems and software did not exist and the cloud emblem was a unique and original concept. Therefore, during the re-brand we kept a focus on the original logo, updating the font and position of the emblem. The logo re-design required a large set of master logo variations to cater for all the social media applications and we undertook the design of a comprehensive brand guidelines document to help explain the correct usage of this logo set.
Pendulum have been involved with the design and development of several iterations of the Webexpenses website. The webiste consists of a large number of pages, together with landing pages for key product functionality. We've designed and advised on the underlying page structures across desktop, tablet and mobile, whilst also producing designs for many of the on-page graphical assets. We regularly product mockups of the system in use, together with product videos and animations to help showcase the system functionality.
One of Pendulum's main skills is user interface design, and Webexpenses approached us to design the user interface for the company' native app. Due to the number of competitors in the market place it was extremely important to design an interface that was highly functional and a breeze to use. We regularly supply visuals to update areas of the user interface, based on user feedback to ensure the company stays ahead of the competition.
They understood what we wanted and delivered it. That’s rare to find.
Another large project undertaking was the design of the desktop administration system. Used by many large blue chip companies and high street retailers, the company's client list is a testament to the quality of the user interface design. All user interface design for Webexpenses now takes place in Figma, allowing a highly collaborative approach.
